National Assisted Living Week

This week is National Assisted Living Week at work. It has been a busy week. Today was game day and i had to organize it. We ended up playing bingo and bowling. I have never seen the residents laugh and joke around with eachother as they did today. I was so happy that they were doing that. I also know that i havent seen some of the residents pick on me as they did today. One of the guys stated " You know Terri, I just thought that I would come out and watch but seeing you work is funny!" I just thought that was funny because it came from a resident who hardly ever talks to me. It was great. Also my boss told me that she was very pround of me and that it was great. She has never seen the residents interact as much as they did. I loved it and it was great to hear that from the person that i look up to at work.
